Life of glory

Hi again it is my pleasure to bring to you this week episode; I had planned to continue directly from the last week teaching, but we are children of the Spirit who are led daily to success. As I was praying it stayed in my heart that I should begin a new teaching for this week. Rather than continue from the last week teaching; the teaching about freedom. For this week what God has laid in my heart is “the mystery of dying to self” I don’t know why God’s Spirit surged me to this direction: perhaps it is your cries and prayers that has moved God to move me in this direction – I don’t know. Nevertheless God’s Spirit hovers upon this word to confirm its purpose.     

As we begin this teaching I would like you to brace yourself for a new dimension of faith. For as you hear and apply this massage your life shall not be the same again; I see your life changing from today in Jesus name. 

Now let us start by breaking down first the theme “the mystery of dying to self”. Mystery is simply a secrete: and a secrete I can define it as something that exist but not known to men. What am I trying to say with this is that: there are some things which are not known in the realm of man you will start to experience when you die to self. There is a life not known to this life, the life of power and of glory you will walk in when you die to self.

Dying is to be emptied of life; whatever you empty life you kill it thus cause it to die. (Please note that the author is not referring to suicide or murder but he speaks of spiritual implications)

 And when I am talking about self: I am actually talking about the old nature that nature of sin and death we had before we were born again. It is that nature that loved sinning and was under the power of bad habits.

 You see the glory of a seed can never be manifested until it dies in the ground so death is a prerequisite for glory and for life in abundant in Christ. Dying to self frees us from the ultimate power of sin and consequently from the power of death itself. The scripture declares “For when we die, we are set free from the power of sin. Rom 6:7” and when you are freed from sin and death you are guaranteed a glorious life and a life of power and victory.   

 Since sin entered into the world in Genesis man has been limited in every sad way. Sin affected man in his core being so that every flow of intelligence from his mind, every flow of skill, genius and ingenious was diluted by sin. Man was to resemble his maker in every possible way. His mind was to be pure and deep in intelligence just like his maker. His character was to be a custodian of God’s goodness and righteousness.

However, man introduced a deadly virus in his system called sin that caged his potential and ability to what we see today. Though we celebrate these so called great minds of our civilization such as Einstein etc, it remains only an imagination what we would be if sin did not enter mankind. Whatever glory produced by man’s creativity that encompasses us now is nothing compared to what would be if men were not slaves of sin.

The second thing sin did when introduced into the world was to corrupt the identity file in the minds of men that man lost the knowledge of who he was thus man begun the long search to date to answer this question “who I am?”. Since he was separated from his maker and did not know how to get to him, he was lost without sense of purpose and significance. He was without compass to point him back and a map to direct him back to his Creator so that he may again found out “who I am?” so he sought to his environment for his answer he begun to study stones, trees, animals it was this confusion that led him to believe the dilemma that he is a descendent of apes “mh, pathetic” 

This makes dying to self which is equivalent to dying to sin a must for all human beings not only for Christians. For when you die to sin you are freed from the power of sin: yes that power that limits your skills and potential shall be Brocken when you die to your old life, the natural life. When you die to the sin nature you will awaken to a glorious life of Christ Jesus. And that is when the flow of creativity, intelligence would be unlocked in your mind. That is when you will receive your identity back. You will walk free over habits and sin. The life of the Holy Spirit will overshadow you and take control of your soul and spirit.
